A Berkeley city councilman has suggested that a tax on email may be wise way to help fund the United States Postal Service, according to the blog Berkeleyside.
In the words of one of the commenters on the story: "You’re an ass… council member. Why don’t you give away your own property and that of your family to the Post Office instead of the people’s money? Communist. Is that what you were elected for, to brainwash ideas to tax the people? We already pay for the stamp stupid! But you want us to contribute part of our salary to support an enterprise."
